Terrible accident in Tumkur: 9 people died on the spot, 14 people were seriously injured

Nine people were killed in a horrific accident between a lorry and a cruiser near Balenahalli Gate on Shira Road in Tumkur.

It is learned that 9 people died on the spot and 14 injured are in serious condition. Sujatha (25) and Vinod (3) of Kurakunda village of Shirwara taluk, cruiser driver Krishnappa (25), Lakshmi alias Meenakshi (28), Basamma (50) of Kasanadoddi village and Prabhu of Vadavatti village were killed.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the accident occurred as a result of a lorry coming from the rear hitting the cruiser. Kuser is completely crushed by the force of Laurie's punch.

All the deceased were laborers and two of them were children. Gule had left Raichur district for Bangalore in a cruiser vehicle in search of a wage job. A terrible accident occurred between a cruiser and a lorry on the way and 9 people died.
